Depression

It’s Not Just Sadness.

Depression is a heaviness, a flatness, a sense of disconnection from the very currents of life. It can feel like life is happening around you, but not through you — as if some vital thread has been lost.

Maybe you find yourself tired all the time, even after a full night’s sleep.
Maybe the things that once brought you joy feel muted or far away.
Maybe you’ve begun to wonder if this is just how life will feel from now on.

If you're here, it’s because some part of you still believes in the possibility of something more.

Depression is not your fault.

Depression often grows out of old patterns of survival — learned ways of disconnecting, numbing, or pushing down feelings in order to get through overwhelming experiences.
It’s not a failure. It’s an adaptation — one that may have once served you, but that now asks for healing.

Through a compassionate and curious approach, we’ll explore together:

  • How depression shows up uniquely for you

  • What protective patterns might be underlying it

  • How to gently reconnect to your vitality, step by step

You are not broken. You are a living being who learned to protect yourself. Healing is about rediscovering that deeper self — the one who has never been damaged, only hidden.

A path back to life

Our work together won’t be about “fixing” you. It will be about walking with you as you rediscover connection — to yourself, to others, and to life itself.

We’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, creating space for your experience without rushing, forcing, or minimizing.

There is life on the other side of this.
You may not feel it yet — and that's okay. Feeling better isn’t something you have to force. It happens slowly, gently, when you are met where you are with compassion.

It would be an honour to walk alongside you on this path.

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”
